As a brand designer, it’s so rare that I get to work on brands I actually love. Don’t get me wrong, I’m proud of what I create, but client preferences, briefs, and commercial demands often mean compromising on my personal taste. That’s why I’m absolutely obsessed when I come across branding that feels like it gets me. These moments—those perfect little details—are what I think about long after I see them. They’re chic, clever, and just plain cool.
Here are 18 branding things I absolutely love right now:
1/ Minimalist Typography
I’m obsessed with minimal typography. A clean, no-fuss sans-serif on soft neutrals just screams understated luxury. It’s simple, it’s timeless, and it’s my go-to inspo for when I want a brand to feel effortless.

2/ Ornamental Monograms
The art of the monogram is alive and well, and I’m here for it. I love monograms that feel both timeless and unexpected. Intricate details and ornamental flourishes make logos feel like a treasure. It’s giving old money, but in a cool way.

3/ Packaging with Round Lids
Perfume bottles with sculptural lids? Yes, please. These feel less like packaging and more like little works of art. I’d leave these out on my shelf purely because they’re that pretty.

4/ Pink + Black
Deliberately feminine without feeling saccharine, this combo is perfection. Blush tones and glossy textures create a dream-like softness that feels both modern and timeless. Feminine, bold, and just the right amount of contrast. It’s fun without being too cutesy.

5/ Black + White Imagery
I absolutely love black-and-white campaigns. They evoke a kind of minimal drama and always feel expensive. Bonus points if they have that vintage editorial vibe, like Saint Laurent.

6/ Print/Stationery
Subtle embossing, clean layouts, and beautiful paper textures are the dream. Nothing beats holding a perfectly designed piece of print that’s as thoughtful as it is gorgeous.

7/ Red
There’s a reason red is a classic. The deep, rich tones especially feel romantic and passionate. I mean, is there anything sexier than red?

8/ Scripty Serifs
I’m having a major moment with serifs that lean just a little bit scripty. They feel elegant without trying too hard—perfect for anything that needs a touch of romance.

9/ Calligraphy
There’s something deeply satisfying about calligraphy. When done right, they bring such a personal yet polished feel. It’s classic, but it doesn’t feel old.

10/ Candles without Labels
A good candle is basically home decor. Matte ceramics, embossed details, and minimal labelling make these pieces as beautiful as the fragrances they hold. Black-on-black, in particular, feels edgy yet refined. If it looks too pretty to burn, I’m into it.

11/ Anything Loewe
Loewe just gets it. They turn everything into art. It’s weird, unexpected, and I can’t get enough.

12/ Deboss/Emboss
Embossing is a detail that always makes me pause. It’s subtle, but you feel the quality when you run your fingers over it.

13/ Romantic Flowers
Soft, painterly florals in muted tones always have my heart. They remind me of Dutch still-life paintings. There’s something so romantic and elegant about them. Whether they’re photographs or illustrations, they just work.

14/ Food + Product Shots
I’m obsessed with branding that makes you do a double-take. These pieces remind me that luxury can be playful, turning the ordinary into something unexpectedly chic.

15/ Vintage Style Illustrations
I’m loving hand-drawn animals in a vintage-y style. They feel peculiar but tasteful, and they add such personality to any brand.

16/ Spot UV Gloss/Varnish
Add gloss details to a matte surface for instant elevation. It’s so subtle, but the way it catches the light makes it instantly luxe.

17/ All Black Packaging
All-black-everything will never not be cool. Black-on-black embossing, glossy details, matte finishes—it’s effortlessly luxe.

18/ Print/Block Illustrations
I’m obsessed with these bold, graphic floral prints. They’re so striking and manage to feel vintage and modern at the same time. Perfect for packaging or anything that needs a bit of artistic flair.
