Dear Reader,

Is it too late to wish you all a Happy New Year? Honestly, when is it socially unacceptable to stop saying it? Either way—Happy New Year!

You may have noticed we didn’t publish any articles in January. That wasn’t by accident. We didn’t want to get caught up in the usual “new year, new us” noise. No lists of habits to start, no “must-know” business checklists for 2025, and not even a trend report (shocking, we know). Instead, we took a beat. We reflected on what an amazing year 2024 was and how exciting 2025 will be—and trust us, it’s going to be big.

We’re kicking off February with a slightly different approach. This year, we’re cutting down the volume of content we put out because, as you know, less is more. We’re a small team, and last year we were proud to deliver articles every single weekday. But for 2025, we’re shifting gears. Our focus? Providing real value. Expect a new article on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

For us, that means fewer but more impactful stories—the kind that make you think, inspire action, and genuinely help your brand grow.

More time for big ideas, deeper research, better writing, and making sure what we publish actually makes a difference.

ICYMI, we wrapped up 2024 with our signature round-ups, covering the best and worst marketing campaign, standout website designs, and the most talked-about launches. From festive hits to branding misses, we covered it all—including our take on the holiday campaigns that nailed it. And of course our 2025 design trends and marketing predictions are here to help you stay ahead of the game.

Wellness is the theme this month, and for good reason. One of the biggest consumer behaviour predictions for 2025? Experiential luxury—think travel, wellness, and lifestyle experiences—will take a bigger share of spending. Consumers may be spending less, but their appetite for value is bigger than ever. In 2025, wellness brands are expected to go beyond products and offer more personalised experiences, holistic lifestyle solutions, and accessible wellness practices. Consumers are looking for ways to improve their healthspan—the years of life spent in good health—and brands that can cater to this shift will be the ones that win.

Expect to see wellness brands stepping up their game, from hyper-personalised services to a stronger focus on longevity and overall well-being. As we move through February, we’ll be covering how brands across beauty, fitness, and even fashion are tapping into this mindset shift.

So here’s to a slower, more thoughtful start to the year—and to making 2025 one to remember.
